Abu Dhabi: A 46-year-old Indian banker based in Dubai has become the latest millionaire after winning Dh1 million in the Big Ticket draw held in Abu Dhabi.
Georgina George, originally from Kerala, India, was announced as the final winner of the Millionaire e-Draw series for December 2024. Born and raised in the UAE, Georgina now resides in Dubai with her husband and children.
Her journey with Big Ticket began five years ago when she started purchasing tickets almost every month along with her colleagues. However, the winning ticket was a spontaneous purchase made jointly with her husband.
Speaking about her win, Georgina said, “Like many winners, my initial reaction was pure disbelief. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely familiar with Richard’s voice, so my first thought was that it might be a scam. But as reality sank in, the overwhelming joy and excitement took over.”
She revealed that she plans to reinvest her winnings and prioritize her children’s higher education. “This windfall is a blessing for our family, and I’m determined to make the most of it for my children’s future,” she added.
